Brentwood-

Brentwood Firefighters responded to a water flow alarm at the Candlewood Suites located on Virginia Way.  Once on scene, they discovered that the sprinkler system had activated, controlling a fire in a second floor room.

The fire, which started in the cabinets under the sink, was limited to the area of origin by two sprinkler heads located in the room. 

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but investigators believe it may have been related to the garbage disposal.

No injuries were reported.
