Fatal Fire in McMinn County

 McMinn County-

Firefighters from Englewood, Etowah, and Claxton Rural fire departments responded to a fatal house fire on County Road 609.  The fire was reported at 6:16 AM on 9/22/2005.

The fire, which had fully involved the structure upon arrival of the first-due units, claimed the life of one person.  The victim was identified as 88-year old Marion L. Dockery.
